Lake Eyasi experience

Lake Eyasi is a seasonal shallow endothecia salt lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley at the base of the Serengeti Plateau, south of the Serengeti National Park and immediately southwest of the Ngorongoro Crater in the Crater Highlands of Tanzania.

The Hadza be bushmen are the indigenous inhabitants of the Lake Eyasi as well as the Datoga and Mbulu tribes. A visit with the Bushmen is a great experience and one will learn on their culture and daily life activities. Their language is a click sound similar to the Kalahari bushmen tribe. While the Datoga and Mbulu people are pastoralists and this gives the area a unique blend of cultural activities.

Lake natron

2- 3 DAYS

A soda lake at the base of the active Ol Donyo Lengai volcano, the area around Lake Natron is often described as having a desolate and almost lunar beauty. Lake Natron is found in the northern part of Tanzania. It is the most important breeding site for Lesser Flamingos in the world with most of the East Africa population of 1.5-2.5 milion flamingoes being hatched in this lake.

Tours to Lake Natron take 2-3 days and you can indulge in several activities including maasai boma cultural visit, bird watching, Hominid footprints tour, Ngare sero waterfalls walk and Hiking.
